An art print of my Mermaid piece! Originally made in 2015 while I served in the U.S. Navy.
Mermaids symbolize the sacred feminine, independence, individuality, insight, awareness, are considered signs of good luck to sailors. Except the Sirens, they like luring us under false pretenses and dragging us under the water and watching us die. Interesting, huh!? They have both positive and negative connotations, I’ll leave it up to you to determine which kind she is here.
