Beauty & Beast: Red Queen Art Print (Graduation Edition)
This art piece is my modern edition of my Beauty & Beast playing card. The Red Queen piece! This a revision of the piece I originally made in 2011! In this modern version, I added a lot more Egyptian themes and made the female appearance into the Goddess Sekhmet, and spruced up the monster quite a bit.
The message is still very much the same as not trusting appearances, as the truth of this being is the monster not the appearance of a goddess. I also moved the ambigram to the center. The Ambigram is a lettering that says one thing in one direction and another thing in another direction. This ambigram says Beauty & Beast.
